Nithya Raman Surges Ahead in Latest Mayoral Poll, Demonstrating Clear Path to Victory
Powered by a 22-point lead among Latino voters, Raman takes a 43%–33% lead entering the final stretch.
Los Angeles, CA – Today, a new poll of likely November 2026 voters in the City of Los Angeles finds Nithya Raman surging to a 10-point lead over rival Karen Bass. Conducted by Impact Research, the poll surveyed 773 Los Angeles City voters and was conducted in both English and Spanish.
The landscape for Los Angeles Mayor as we approach the election less than a month out from Election Day has transformed, with Nithya Raman opening a strong 43% - 33% lead over Karen Bass. In a previous poll, the race was in a dead heat, with a statistical tie at 38% - 37%, with Karen Bass leading by 1 point.
Since the last poll was conducted, Nithya Raman has opened a 22-point lead with Latino voters, up 17 points from her initial 5 point lead in September. Raman enters the final stretch of the race with momentum clearly on her side.
“These numbers tell a remarkable story about Nithya Raman’s rise—and Karen Bass’ failure to meet the moment. Raman entered this race as an underdog and has surged into first place because Angelenos are tired of excuses and ready for a mayor who delivers,” said Estevan J. Montemayor, Chief Strategist, Estamos con Nithya for Mayor of LA 2026. “Karen Bass is asking voters for another four years. Nithya Raman is giving them a reason to choose something better. Estamos con Nithya will work every day to share her vision for a Los Angeles that works for all of us.”
