Los Angeles, CA –A new poll of likely November 2026 voters in the City of Los Angeles finds Nithya Raman in a competitive position, with extreme vulnerabilities found for incumbent Mayor Karen Bass. Conducted by Impact Research, the poll surveyed 700 Los Angeles City voters and was conducted in both English and Spanish. 

Raman is statistically tied with Mayor Bass, 37% to 38%, well within the poll’s margin of error of 3.7%. This race remains competitive, with clear advantages for Raman. While Raman remains unknown to one-third of the electorate, Bass enters the final two months of the race with nearly two-thirds of voters disapproving of her job performance. 

Among Latino voters, Raman leads by five points, 38% to 33%. After messaging, Raman leads Bass among Latinos by 15 points, 45% to 30%, demonstrating Raman’s opportunity among this key audience. 

“This poll confirms what we’re seeing across Los Angeles: voters are ready for new leadership, and Nithya Raman has real momentum. The race is effectively tied, and once voters hear messages from both candidates, Nithya takes the lead—especially with Latino voters. Angelenos want a mayor who leads with urgency, accountability, and a clear vision to make City Hall work for them.
